Padang, situated on the west coast of West Sumatra, serves as the capital city of West Sumatra Province, renowned for its thriving industrial, trade, service sectors, and tourism. Owing to the diverse and unique characteristics of Padang, the city has established a Sister City collaboration with Ba Ria Vung Tau. The latter, having expressed keen interest in this partnership, engaged in fruitful negotiations with Padang's Mayor, culminating in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on May 31, 2016. The primary motivation behind this collaboration is the striking geographical and demographic similarities between the two cities, as well as their shared potential for growth. This paper examines the establishment of Sister City cooperation within the framework of paradiplomacy, which seeks to forge cooperative ties between domestic and foreign regions.

There is a particularly long tradition of argument about women's leadership and existence in society. This became triggered by Zozi Tunzi’s speech for her coronation in the Miss Universe 2019, Atlanta Georgia, USA. As a women leader and educational advocate from South Africa, she shows the importance of “taking up space” for women. This research purpose is to analyse how Zozi’s speech impact in women leadership and women participation in the middle of “society has labelled women to be”. This article is using secondary data from Zozi’s speech, Miss Universe official website and media platform by qualitative descriptive. The study will show the changes in pageant patterns as a tool for building the resilience of women's leadership.

Indonesia adalah negara dengan mayoritas penduduk pemeluk Islam terbesar di dunia. Hal ini menyebabkan Indonesia tergabung ke dalam Organisasi Kerja Sama Islam (OKI). Adapun salah satu tujuan dari Organisasi Kerja Sama Islam (OKI) ialah untuk membantu perjuangan pembentukan negara Palestina yang merdeka dan berdaulat. Hal inilah yang menjadi pondasi bagi Indonesia sebagai negara anggota dari Organisasi Kerja Sama Islam (OKI) untuk berkomitmen dalam mengatasi konflik yang terjadi antara Palestina dan Israel. Komitmen Indonesia untuk mengatasi konflik yang terjadi di Palestina ditunjukkan oleh Menteri Luar Negeri Indonesia–Retno Marsudi–dalam Pertemuan Tingkat Menteri Komite Eksklusif Organisasi Kerja Sama Islam (OKI) secara virtual pada Minggu 16 Mei 2021. Adapun pertemuan tersebut menghasilkan 3 usulan yang disampaikan Indonesia terkait konflik Palestina dan Israel. Pertemuan Tingkat Menteri Komite Eksklusif Organisasi Kerja Sama Islam (OKI) mengindikasikan bahwa terdapat respons dari Indonesia terhadap konflik yang terjadi di Palestina. Adapun paper ini membahas terkait tanggapan yang diberikan oleh Indonesia terhadap konflik sengketa yang terjadi antara Palestina dan Israel, jalur diplomasi yang ditempuh serta tanggapan dari Organisasi Kerja Sama Islam (OKI) beserta Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa (PBB) terhadap pelanggaran-pelanggaran yang dilakukan oleh Israel terhadap Palestina.
